GENERAL INFORMATION

• Calathea are a tropical houseplants popular for the bold markings on their abundant foliage.
• They are also called peacock, zebra, or rattlesnake plants, referring to their decorative leaves resembling characteristics of those animals.
• The variegated foliage of the calathea 'White Fusion' cultivar features a green leaf with contrasting white markings.
• The underside has a magenta hue that runs down the stems.

SOIL REQUIREMENT

• Use a good light porous indoor potting soil that retains water but still drains quickly.
• African Violet soil works well.

• They do not need a lot of fertilizing, but they will flower and do well with a standard houseplant fertilizer.
