GENERAL INFORMATION

  • The Euphorbia milii hybrids in cultivation are a domesticated lot and though technically succulent, they require growing conditions more like tropical foliage plants than typical Cacti & Succulents.
  • This hybrid species has no thorns unlike the typical Euphorbia milii.

SOIL REQUIREMENT

  • Euphorbia milii prefers a permeable, humous, and sandy substrate.
  • This can either be a mixture of soil and sand or a substrate mixture composed of 1 part of humous soil or peat substrate, 1 part of loamy soil, 1.5 parts of quartz sand, and 1.5 parts of lava granules, gravel, or expanded clay.
