GENERAL INFORMATION

• A round nose shovel, also known as a round point shovel, is used for digging, lifting, and moving materials like soil, gravel, and sand. They are used in many different fields, including gardening, construction, and agriculture. 
• Digging: Round nose shovels are used to dig holes for planting, to remove dead plants, and to dig trenches 
• Moving materials: Round nose shovels can be used to move piles of soil, gravel, and stone 
• Cultivating: Round nose shovels can be used to turn over vegetable beds and mulch into soil 
• Prying: Round nose shovels can be used to pry out rocks, but for heavier rocks, a digging bar may be needed 
• Improving drainage: Round nose shovels can be used to improve drainage in soils that are difficult to work with
