GENERAL INFORMATION
- A South American prayer plant kept for its clean, designer-quality foliage
- Calathea Roseopicta 'Rosy' has rounded leaves with a pink and metallic silvery-green centre surrounded by a thick dark green border
- Gradually, shades of pink will begin to encompass the centre and spread to the whole leaves
- The amount of pink will varies with the age of the plant. It is a highly rewarding process to watch the foliage of Calathea Rosy matures
SOIL REQUIREMENT
- Well draining potting mix.
- A good mix is two parts peat/coir and one part perlite.

FEEDING/FERTILIZER REQUIREMENT
- Monthly while actively growing with 1/4 strength, balanced fertilizer.
- Flush the soil several times per year.
LIGHT REQUIREMENT
- Medium, filtered light.
WATER REQUIREMENT
- Maintain moist soil with regular watering, but do not let the soil become soggy.
- Use filtered, distilled, or rainwater ideally.
