GENERAL INFORMATION
- Known for its unique yellow and green striped leaves, the Dracaena Lemon Lime will refresh any space!
- The Lemon Lime Dracaena has bright, eye-catching leaves with characteristic stripes down the center. This plant rarely blooms, but when it does, its flower blooms at night and emits smells that attract night pollinators, like moths.
- It will show off its shiny good looking leaves and it helps the removal of various indoor air toxins.
- This particular species, known as, 'victora' or 'victoriae', has that yellow stripe that runs through the middle of the leaf, however, it tends to have smaller but wider and almost triangular leaves.
SOIL REQUIREMENT
- Loose, loamy potting soil mix is the best option for growing this plants.
- Dracaena 'Lemon Lime' is very sensitive to wet soil, so choose a potting soil that drains very well and doesn’t retain too much moisture. A good soil will have lots of perlite or vermiculite for drainage and some organic matter for nutrition. A few handfuls of perlite added to regular store-bought cactus soil will do the trick!
- The roots don't like to sit in water, so make sure the soil has good drainage.

FEEDING/FERTILIZER REQUIREMENT
- Dracaena 'Lemon Lime' grows very slowly and doesn’t require added fertilizer. Replacing your plant’s potting soil once a year should provide them with more than enough nutrition.
LIGHT REQUIREMENT
- Dracaena 'Lemon Lime' can tolerate being far from a window and light source.
- Place it less than 6 feet from a south-facing window to ensure it receives enough light to survive
- The leaves will scorch if too bright and if it's too dark the new leaves will be quite small and the stripe(s) may look quite different to those found on the older ones.
WATER REQUIREMENT
- These plants benefit from a little "drying time" between waterings.
- So water well and then wait for the top inch of the soil to dry out before watering again.
- Dracaena 'Lemon Lime' enjoys lots of humidity. They may also benefit from being placed next to a humidifier.
