GENERAL INFORMATION
The Labisia sp. 'Pink Vein' is an ultra-rare tropical terrestrial prized for its dark green leaves with electric pink venation. The 'Pink Vein' cultivar has become a trophy specimen among foliage enthusiasts due to its striking appearance. Provide excellent drainage and air movement to mimic its native rainforest floor habitat.
- Light:
- Bright, indirect light is best.
- Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves.
- A location near a window with filtered light or a grow light is ideal.
- Watering:
- Keep the soil consistently moist, but not waterlogged.
- Water when the top inch of soil feels dry. Watering with rainwater to prevent leaf browning.
- Ensure good drainage to prevent root rot.
- Adjust watering frequency based on environmental conditions.
- Humidity:
- High humidity (60-80% or higher) is essential for healthy growth and vibrant pink veins.
- Use a humidifier, pebble tray, or terrarium to maintain humidity levels.
