GENERAL INFORMATION
- Pelargonium zonale, commonly known as the zonal geranium, is a member of the Geraniaceae family. Native to South Africa, it is a popular ornamental plant known for its vibrant flowers and rounded leaves with distinct zonal markings. It thrives in subtropical climates and can be grown as a subshrub or shrub.
SOIL REQUIREMENT
- This plant prefers well-draining loamy soil. A mix that retains some moisture but allows excess water to drain away is ideal. Ensure the soil is slightly acidic to neutral in pH.
