SOIL REQUIREMENT
- Use well-draining, nutrient-rich loamy soil. If growing in containers, a 5-gallon pot or larger is required.

FEEDING/FERTILIZER REQUIREMENT
- Use a balanced fertilizer upon planting, followed by 2-3 more applications throughout the season, such as a seaweed emulsion or fish fertilizer.
LIGHT REQUIREMENT
- Direct sunlight for at least six hours daily.
WATER REQUIREMENT
- Keep soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Water when the top 2 inches of soil are dry, increasing frequency during extreme heat.
