GENERAL INFORMATION
- The Usagi Lotus Mud is a bag of mud pieces used as a potting medium for aquatic plants such as water lily, lotus, etc.
- The earthy, clayey or musty mud smell is the normal characteristic of mud.
- When growing lotuses in containers, in the initial phase the water and mud can emit a strong, unpleasant stench, particularly if algae are growing.
DIRECTION OF USE
- Wash the dry pond mud under running water first, then soak the pond mud 1-2 days to soften it for use, discard the water then top up with fresh water.
- Place the mud in your container or lotus pond and let it settle.
- The mud is now ready for planting.
- The soil can have a strong, wet, earthy smell, similar to swamp or marsh mud.
